At the core of Kelch’s shrink-fit product line is the i-tec® M system—a modular, scalable solution ideal for both job shops and large-scale production environments. Using advanced induction heating technology, Kelch shrinking units can quickly and safely heat toolholders for rapid tool changes, all while maintaining excellent concentricity and clamping force. With power levels up to 13 kW, the i-tec® M can handle a wide range of taper sizes from SK 60 to HSK 160, and lengths up to 650 mm—or even 1400 mm with optional extensions.
